Some tips before you start your meditation :-
- Find a fixed spot in your home, use the same spot everyday
- Always sit facing North or East direction
- Preferably have dim light or no light at all
- If you are listening to guided meditation, it is preferable to use a speaker. Headphones may interfere with the vibration
- Preferable to have some aroma (not that would let you doze off)
- Keep your spine straight. You may choose to sit cross legged or on a chair, whatever is comfortable for you
- Focus on your breath. Start with 1 minute and extend to how much time you are comfortable with practice
